Pontiac Grand Prix GTX
|
SLP
Auto Group's new GTX represents the logical evolution of Pontiac's
sporty Grand Prix®. Sharing the same bold styling and performances
orientation of the Grand Prix GT and GTP models, GTX is available
nationwide via Pontiac® dealers who take their "We
Build Excitement" slogan seriously. At SLP, so do we. From
a base package that adds twin functional hood scoops to a forced
air induction system, which produces five extra horsepower,
GTX is all business. But it's always fun, which is the essence
of what driving is all about at SLP. |

Dual racing stripes accent the steep rake of GTX's new and
very functional rear spoiler. High speed handling never felt
better aided by the downforce generated from the optional
spoiler.
|
From
the 1991 through 2002 model years, SLP produced Firehawk, an
adrenaline fueled V8 Firebird, which was the highest SAE net
horsepower Firebird ever sold by Pontiac-GMC Division. You read
that right, the highest net horsepower Firebird ever sold as
a GM factory-approved vehicle.
|

Every GTX starts with functional hood scoops
and underhood cold air box. Combined with the optional Cat-Back
Exhaust System, It's all good. And good for 15 additional
horsepower.
|

New lightweight, aluminum six-spoke rims combined with the new
Hawk Brake Pads improve the Driver-IN-Control theme that Grand
Prix is famous for. Look good, go fast, stop quick |
|
A
few years ago, responding to dealer interest for more Grand
Prix excitement, we introduced the Grand Prix GTX.
To celebrate its sixth year of production, the 2003 GTX receives
a number of new option, enhanced performance, better handling,
improved braking and benefits from increased model availability.
|
 |
Performance
without refinement and quality interior appointments is meaningless.
That's why we listened to dealers and customers who asked for
more in 2003.
New refinements like optional high quality burled wood (shown
above) and carbon fiber finishes for the steering wheel, instrument
panel, shift knob and door pads make a great statements. |
|
What
about the detail? Well, every detail is important to SLP.
That's why we offer accents like the GTX logo on the front
seat headrests, as well as on the optional floormats and key
chain
